Court Okays Jail Strip Searches
If you are ever arrested, even for a minor offense such as not paying a traffic ticket, prepare yourself to be possibly strip searched at the jail. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that jailers do not need any suspicion or probable cause to strip search anyone who is being detained. The issue, the court's 5-4 majority ruled, is one of safety.
