Boy, 12, Charged With Beating Death of 2-Year-Old
Prince George's County police say a 12-year-old boy is charged with second-degree murder in the beating death of Aniya Batchelor, a 2-year-old foster child living with his family. Police were called to a Ft. Washington home after Aniya's foster father called 911 to report that he discovered the girl unresponsive. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
