Armored Guard Killer Dodges Death Penalty

A former Pennsylvania armored car guard who is accused of killing his co-worker and stealing $2.3 million will not be facing the death penalty if he is convicted. Prosecutors have decided not to seek the death penalty against Kenneth Konias Jr. who has been charged with first-degree murder. Konias is charged with killing fellow guard Michael Haines during his Feb. 28 robbery of their Garda Cash Logistics armored truck. Read more...
