A.J. Barker Charged With Marijuana Possession
Former Minnesota Golden Gophers wide receiver A.J. Barker was arrested Sunday night in Houston, Texas, on suspicion of marijuana possession, according to court records obtained by the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Barker reportedly posted $500 bail after being charged. Barker was supposed to start classes at the University of Houston Monday after transferring out of Minnesota at the end of fall. The junior from St. Paul's De La Salle High School was leading Minnesota in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, when he suffered a sprained ankle in the Gophers' Oct. 27 win over Purdue.
