Bourbon Workers Charged in Thefts

A crew of thirsty thieves stole more than $100,000 in bourbon whiskey from two Kentucky distilleries, prosecutors said. Nine people including three distillery workers were indicted Tuesday for their parts in an eight-year heist. Over the years, the stealing ring lifted tens of thousands of dollars' worth of whiskey in barrels and in bottles from Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey, including cases of the exclusive Pappy Van Winkle, and sold it on the black market.
